Wireless USB Adapter stops connection when running certain programs

Do you have the same wireless Adapter?The problem I had was was with windows,i was using windows to configure my wireless network instead of the wireless lan configuration tool that came in a cd with the usb,so i went to my wireless network connection clicked properties then wireless networks : uncheck the box that says use windows to configure my wireless network settings,then installed the software that came with my wireless usb and hey presto everything works fine now.hope this helps dude.if you've further problems post again an i'll try help u out.
