Hello kwyeap,

Try booting the system into safe mode by restarting the system and repeatedly tap the F8 key during startup until you get the "Advanced Options".
Choose "Safe Mode" if the system boots to your desktop try running a system restore back before the problems.

1. Repair Windows by booting from the Vista DVD and selecting the "Repair" function.

or

2. Reinstall Vista

Hello,

Windows Vista does not have the repair function like XP Does. Go into Safe Mode if possible and find a UXTheme.dll on the net for the version of Vista you have. They are all over the place. Just copy that to the C:\Windows\System32 folder.

Cheers,
Mak

Makaveli213, they can't see anything on the screen. Safe Mode was suggested earlier.

I thought uxtheme was for XP only and Vistaglazz was for Vista...

I'll make a separate thread for my own questions...

Hello,

UXTheme can be used for both XP and VIsta. VistaGlazz hasnt been updated to work with SP1 last thing i knew. If you cant get into Safe Mode use a Linux Live CD. Can replace the file then.

Cheers,
Mak
