Hi,
Just recently my avast! network scanner starting detecting and blocking a malicious site called: directitfast.com/seneka/engine/engine.php?d=(random letters). Also i noticed that whenever i searched for something on yahoo, i saw v1.adwarefeed.com pop up in my status bar. I have tried malwarebytes, SUPERantispyware, my avast scanner, and gooredfix. When i use gooredfix, it always comes up with a random firefox extension which it deletes, which stops the v1.adwarefeed.com but not directitfast. But everytime I reboot, v1.adwarefeed.com comes back, gooredfix finds a new extension and the process goes on.
I'm not sure what type of infection this is as I am pretty inexperienced in dealing with malware. Any help with this problem would be very much appreciated smile.gif
