Hey L_artra,

Your logs don't look too bad, MBAM did a good job taking out some of the trash. wink.gif

Please follow my instructions in the order they were given, and print out a copy of it as you may not have access to the forums during the fix.

1) Run SmitFraudFix

Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.

You should print out these instructions, or copy them to a NotePad file for reading while in Safe Mode, because you will not be able to connect to the Internet to read from this site.

Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :
  • Restart your computer
  • After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
  • Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
  • Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
  • Choose your usual account.
Once in Safe Mode, double-click on SmitfraudFix.exe
Select option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and press "Enter" to delete infected files.

You will be prompted : "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".

The tool may need to restart your computer to finish the cleaning process; if it doesn't, please restart it into Normal Windows.
A text file will appear onscreen, with results from the cleaning process; please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.
The report can also be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Warning : running option #2 on a non infected computer will remove your Desktop background.

2) Fix with HijackThis

Please re-open HijackThis and Do a System Scan Only. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {0E1230F8-EA50-42A9-983C-D22ABC2EED3B} - (no file)
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present

Now close all windows other than HijackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis.

3) Run RSIT

  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<<will be maximized) and info.txt (<<will be minimized)

Next reply (please include):

Note: Please post each log in one post

Hey L_artra,

There are some infected entries we need to remove.

Important! Please plug in your USB drive into F:/ drive before you start the fix below.

1) Fix with HijackThis

Please re-open HijackThis and Do a System Scan Only. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lphcpw0j0egna] C:\WINDOWS\system32\lphcpw0j0egna.exe
O20 - Winlogon Notify: euvonsg - euvonsg.dll (file missing)

Now close all windows other than HijackThis, then click Fix Checked. Close HijackThis.

2) Run OTMoveIt2

Please download the OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer.
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Please double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it. (Vista users, please right click on OTMoveit2.exe and select "Run as an Administrator")
  • Copy the file paths below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):

    CODE
    [kill explorer]
    C:\WINDOWS\Temp\.tt7.tmp
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\lphcpw0j0egna.exe
    C:\Windows\ravmon.exe
    F:\.\Recycled\Driveinfo.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\evikawisin.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mailKmd.sys
    mailKmd <delete service>
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\\lphcpw0j0egna
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\Dls64.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\Gnu53.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\Hov07.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\Tcj41.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\Minimal\Ygn53.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\network\Dls64.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\network\Gnu53.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\network\Hov07.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\network\Tcj41.sys
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SafeBoot\network\Ygn53.sys

    purity
    emptytemp
    [start explorer]

  • Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to Move" window (under the light Yellow bar) and choose Paste.
  • Click the red Moveit! button.
  • A log of files and folders moved will be created in the c:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles folder in the form of Date and Time (mmddyyyy_hhmmss.log). Please open this log in Notepad and post its contents in your next reply.
  • Close OTMoveIt2
If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

3) Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

  • Open Malwarebytes by clicking on its shortcut on desktop. Please click on the "Update" tab and click "Check for Updates".
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.

  • The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
  • Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
