Hi,

Im currently having a big problem with the hotoffers malware, i know Daemon already sorted it for one guy

and i tried to follow that thread, however, i found that some of the files that were removed from his computer in hijackthis dont come up in my HJT log.

Could really do with the help, i tried everything i can think of including several spyware software packages but to no avail.

Would really appreciate the help guys/gals. I know this is a repetition of ppl with the same prob but i dont want to delete files that shouldnt be and cause a full system crash. Im a serious noob when it comes to system registry or service applications and i could really do with gettin my comp back online as im just coming into the last 4 weeks of my university degree with courseworks building up. nothing worse than being interrupted while trying to write up your final year project.

Bump

Admin you can close this thread.

I managed to sort out the hotoffers spyware by restoring my PC.

So if any one is having the www.hotoffers.info spyware issue you can fix it quickly and easily by doing a system restore, however you will loose info between your last restore save point and the day you restore your comp.

Glad it worked for you but in order for that to work you must have a clean restore point to use.
