It is normal for file type 'Exe' to not be in that list, since you cannot associate it with anything.
'exe' denotes a program file, every application has a file of this type but the filename varies with the name of the application. For example, Microsoft Word has a program file called 'winword.exe' which starts the application. All 'exe' files take care of themselves without any user intervention - you cannot edit or change the association of 'exe' files, hence that file-type is not in the list.

Have you right-clicked, and then go on Properties and check the Target and Start in locations, make sure these are to the Malwarebytes .exe file.
