I'm paying a visit to Grandma, and I've just cleaned out a bunch of malware on her pc- enough to make it act normal and do what it's told to. But, now there's the problem listed above. I'm attaching a screenshot of the Yahoo homepage- the problem here is the white "space". It shows up on almost every website I've used on this pc, especially with apps on Facebook that I decided would be a good test.

I have tried both IE, Opera, and Firefox, same results.
I have completely removed the graphics driver after verifying that it was safe to do so. I have uninstalled IE, and I'm now using Firefox.
I did a full scan with SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes, they cleaned out atleast 100 files and registry crap entries.
The display adapter is a Unichrome set or whatever, I'll worry about it later.

I hope enough of this is useful.
Thanks!

SpywareOmnomBurp-

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go! :)

Awfully nice of you to help Grandma. Mine thinks computers are evil. :)

Since you mentioned cleaning out malware; it's likely not all of it is gone. I suggest taking a look at the Malware and Spyware Cleaning Guide. This will help you disinfect the majority of malicious software from your system. If that doesn't solve your problem, post a new thread in the Removal Help for Virus, Malware, Rootkit, Search Redirect Forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to this thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Nice name by the way :)
