  • Click the "Delete File" button which looks like a stop sign.
  • Click "Yes" at the Replace on Reboot prompt.
  • Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.
  • Repeat steps 4-8 above for these files:
    • C:\WINDOWS\System32\k8pmli7118.dll
    • C:\WINDOWS\System32\aquhqx.exe
    • C:\WINDOWS\System32\napeas.dll

  • You may get this message>>>"Pending File Rename Operations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" This is okay, you will just have to manually restart your pc.
  • Double-click on find.bat and post the new output.txt.
Copy and paste the quoted text below into a text editor such as Notepad.
Save this text as FixVX2.reg. Make sure the "Save as type:" is "All Files (*.*)" and save it to your desktop.
Double-click on FixVX2.reg. When it asks you to merge the information to the registry click Yes.

Reboot normally and post another log. Leave the computer on until further instructions. Every reboot you do makes this thing morph and harder to remove.

By reboot normally, I just mean a normal restart. Not into safe mode or another mode, just normal turning the pc off and on.

I just got a searchmiracle.com popup. I thought it was gone.

No one ever said it was gone yet. This stuff (especially the infection you have) is not going to go away in a couple steps (unless you're really lucky). Have patience and we'll kill this together. Please reboot normally and post a new log.

I deleted those files you wanted me to with Killbox. When windows was starting up again, a black window came up. And a notification window came saying there was some error with .winlogin.

Anyway, here the new log.
