As the title says, , why, sometimes after starting up my vista pc and laptop , do the sidebar content move around or dont line up in the order that i prefer ?
Doesnt happen all the time, just occassionaly. I mean last week my desktop pc did it, , and my laptop started doing it today.

Because something has changed with it? I really don't know as the sidebar is disabled on any system that I use.

Intermittent problems are difficult to diagnose. You can startup Process Monitor and have it log all the stuff that's going on in your system - but the log is likely to overflow the capacity of your hard drive before the event even happens. And then we'd have to know what we're looking for in order to find it (if it's not directly related to your gadgets).

Speaking of gadgets, are there any special one's that you use (that didn't come packaged with Vista)? Have you tried disabling them to see if it stops the behavior?
