[akazoe]

I keep getting a popup saying that I have Blackworm virus. I was also getting winfix popups but ran vundofix and don't seem to be getting those anymore.
Can anyone help me remove Blackworm?

Make sure you can view all Hidden Files/Folders search for the files highlighted in BOLD

If you find them could you zip them up and e-mail them please

• When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
• Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
• You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
• Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
• When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
• Turn your computer back on.
• Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.

We will deal with the blackworm shortly and the trojan you have on your system as well

Please download ewido security suite it is a trial version of the program.

• Install ewido security suite
• When installing, under "Additional Options" uncheck "Install background guard" and "Install scan via context menu".
• Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
• The program will now go to the main screen

You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.

• On the left hand side of the main screen click update
• Then click on Start Update

The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
If you are having problems with the updater, you can use this link to manually update ewido.

Once the updates are installed do the following:

• Click on scanner
• Click on Complete System Scan and the scan will begin.
• While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK
• When it asks if you want to clean the first file, put a check in the lower left corner of the box that says "Perform action on all infections" then choose clean and click OK.
• Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
• Click Save report.
• Save the report .txt file to your desktop.

Now close ewido security suite.

• Once you are on the Panda site click the Scan your PC button
• A new window will open...click the Check Now button
• Enter your Country

Lets see if we can killbox the last of the files and then we can clean up the reg keys that it is finding,

First lets use killbox again *Open killbox
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*In the field labeled Full Path of File to Delete enter the file paths listed below ONE AT A TIME (EXACTLY as it appears, please double check to make sure!):

Press the button that looks like a red circle with a white X in it after each one. When it asks if you would like to delete on reboot, press the YES button, when it asks if you want to reboot now, press the NO button. If you receive a message and your computer does not restart automatically, please restart it manually.

Lets get rid of the need2find

Download and install Registrar Lite version 2.00

• Double click the purple Registrar Lite icon on your desktop.
• Copy the line below and paste it into the "Address" field (located at the top) of the program
  
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\NEED2FIND
  
  Click the "Go" button
  
  You should see the NEED2FIND folder located in the window on the right
  
  Highlight it, Click on the red X at the top and delete it,
  
  Close out Reistrar lite ,
  Reboot your computer and rescan with active please,
