I picked up a problem file from the Limewire P2P service (I don't even remember downloading it, it just kind of showed up in my Downloads file). It's got a long name that starts with ZZ, then a bunch of words, then .jpg. I can't delete the file. If I try something like the HijackThis delete-on-reboot utility, I can't choose that file to delete because I'm told the file name is invalid (had the same problem with AEVITA Wipe & Delete). I tried Digital File Shredder and shredding both the file and the folder it's in, but no luck.
I've scanned the file with AVG, with AdAware, with everything I can think of and it never comes up as infected, so I'm not really sure what's going on.

There is nothing showing on your HJT log.
Can I suggest that you submit the file to Jotti for analysis
Please visit Jotti.org for a file scan. At the top of the page find File to upload and scan click Browse, navigate to the file path, and then click Submit and wait while Jotti scans the file. Please note the findings where it says Status a few lines down from the top, and let me know in your reply.
I will also need the full path of the file.
Thanks

I'm running into the same problem - Jotti won't accept the file because the filename is invalid. Here's the full name of the file:
ZZ Chyler Leigh Celebrity Female in Fur Rollos With Those Eyes Sending Strong Signals Sex Minx (heather graham naomi watts elisha cuthbert keeley hazell tera patrick jaime pressley thora birch hooker fhm.jpg
I can't right-click on the file and select "Properties" to rename it, and clicking once on the name just brings the error noise. It's obviously been set up to cause these problems.

Have you tried to either delete it or rename it in safe mode?
No, that's a good idea. I'll give that a shot.

Many thanks.
