Hi

I have a Apple Powerbook G4 currently running Mac OS X 10. I want to install and run Windows XP.
Can somebody guide me on how to do that. I know how to install Win XP on Intel.

Also where will I get the drivers for XP.

Awaiting an early reply.

Thnx

you can use virtual pc to run windows "inside" of mac os, but you cant run a x86 os on a ppc processor without virtual pc to emulate it. so you cant run windows alone, or in a dual boot on a g4, you can only run windows inside osx with the emulator.

windows xp works on intel macs, its just the ppc type (g3, g4, g5) that need virtual pc as an emulator.

dmg like iso is a disk image, it needs to be mounted (acts like a virtual disk). you should just be able to double click it, this should put a dirve icon on your desktop, in there should be some sort of installer. after installing just drag the disk icon to the trash to "eject" (unmount) it. then you can delete the dmg file.
