My problem is that I've installed ac97 realtek driver over my soundmax integrated audio card and there's no sound anymore. I was looking for the soundmax drivers, but I couldn't find anything that seemed good and (this is not my own computer) so I decided to try the realtek driver cause it worked well on my other computer (Yes I should've thought about this more before doing that). So now I'm left wondering where to get soundmax drivers as they don't share any of them on their homepage and they suggest that I go to my computer's manufacturer's site but mine's Intel's and I'm really confused about their website and can't find anything. The realtek driver doesn't seem to uninstall itself also. Any Help??? Help an idiotic noob :tazz: ?

yes I did that already and didn't find anything there either BUT I managed to solve this by myself by doing the system restoration (should've done that in the first place lol... stupid)... so the sound works again so no help needed anymore. Sorry for bothering with this :tazz: ^^
