Panda Titanium 2006 worked well for 2 months. Then I started getting the error message 'Protection low, check script blocker". When I click the link, I get the message "internal antivirus error. Restart computer" Of course, if I restart, I get the same error. The script blocker is checked, but, interestingly, if I go to the main control page, and UNCHECK the script blocker, the protection report goes to high, with a recommendation "enable script blocker."
Panda Teckies have been having me running in circles for six weeks! Keep sending boilerplate with the same suggestion that I uninstall Norton, run psinfo and send it to them, etc. (I have done everything they suggested at least 6 times.) I finally worked out, on my own, that this problem may have come from a trial version of System Mechanic (no longer on my computer, the trial expired.), but I am not positive about this.

I have done clean uninstalls of system mechanic, norton, macafee, and every other antispyware, etc. I ever had, and can get instructions for clean uninstall. I have uninstalled Panda, using the uninstall tool they sent me. It clearly doesn't do a clean uninstall, because when I reinstall, I get a message that there are files from an incomplete uninstall. I have removed pavprserv.exe from everything I can find, taken the panda files from the program files, common files, registry. I installed the Panda update that came out a few days ago. I still get the same error message. Can anyone suggest how I can get rid of it? I have spent HOURS trying to fix this, to no avail.

If you have System Mechanic installed or ever had it installed on your machine, please check out this link at iolo.com. It should do the trick as far as fixing the script blocker error.
