Well, you have fixed my login error, and now my run>search also works, lag has gone, just my IE activex control or whatever it is stopping me using IE functions/buttons, and a couple of exclamation marks in my device manager I noticed.

for IE, you might try Tools>Internet Options>Advanced & select "Restore Defaults." as for device manager hardware etc is not my forte.

let me know if theres anything more i can do.
