Sorry am new to comps, took me long enough to install windows.
How would I do that? I am in spain so all the info that came with my router are in Spanish as is the disk!!
It was on line before I reinstalled windows.

Right.. and before you get back online you need to install the drivers for the NIC card (what connects your broadband modem to your computer and is normally installed in the computer)..
Download a program called Belarc from www.belarc.com and run it on your system.. it should tell you what your network card is..

Can not copy and paste as this is not the computer that I am having problems with, I think I am going to have to call the engineer out. I think that the driver for the router is missing, but as the disk is all in spanish..... Am so Peed off now, been without internet for nearly a month now!

Is the card integrated into the motherboard or is it an add-on??

I have no idea! I think built in, have wiped and (re) re-installed, in systems manager it's showing PCI Ethernet controller, (Which is what I belive this machine uses) But can't find out which one to get the driver, it's telling me that the driver needs reinstalling.

Sorry for the delay in replying..
Run Belarc again.. Look for anything in the log that mentions Networking ot NIC..
Just type what it says here..
