Hey fellow geeks,

I was wondering, right now I have two 512MB sticks of Corsair Value RAM; would it be bad it I added 2 sticks of Kingston value RAM?

I'm looking for two sticks of 512MB DDR2 533MHz RAM, considering that's what the current situation is, and I don't think changing frequencies would be a good idea.

Thanks for any help you give!

True but I have heard of issues coming up about using different brand ram. Theortically it should work just fine, but if I were you I would just I would just get the same stuff you already got in there. Then there should be no issues. My 2 cents.

The only thing is, I couldn't find any Corsair value RAM in packs of two 512's. I could only find Kingston of that. The only thing I found was individual 512's for Corsair and they're pretty expensive. I thought I found them somewhere, but now I can't :whistling:

Any ideas?

*sarcastically* Wow, all my problems are now solved.

Why Crucial and not Kingston or Viking or Corsair? What makes Crucial so good? (Not to be snarky but actually wondering) :whistling:
