Hi,

Using winxp sp2

Going to install the hijack this when I get home, and go through all the steps I am supposed to first.

I just wanted to know if anyone started getting the Dr. Watson post mortem error after trying to install this game.

My friend downloaded this game (she can't remember the site) and then the problems started. I ran ad-aware, and it found a slew of stuff which it removed. Also virus scanned... found some, and removed.

It is the same as a lot of other, when trying to use windows explorer, the message pops up and then system freezes.

any additional thoughts?

Thanks!
Kim

that site appears clean, Dr. Watson is a new variant of CWS, which is not a fun removal. I would say more then likely that your friend was infected before getting the game in question. there may have been another site she went to that either installed it or got it in motion.
