Dazzle Memory Stick Reader

I have a older Dazzle memory-stick card reader,
and I can't get it to work on my windows xp, no matter
what I try to do, I put the memory stick in the slot and all
that happens is a little red light blinks (forever) and it never
copies my pictures of my camera and my computer does not
acknowledge that the dazzle is plugged in, except when I plug in
to the USB slot, it does say "new hardware".
Would anyone be familier with this device be able to have
some advice...
