I've had the 1MB NTL broadband connection for a year and a half now. A while back I read on here that if I rang them up and quoted a deal they'd halve my £17.99 a month fee to £9.99.
They did, and it's been like this ever since.
It went a bit awry over christmas, then last month they charged me £11.99 for some reason, and now they've started debiting me £17.99 again.
Is there anything I can say to them to get it back down again? Struggling to pay that much again.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello blaise78,

Contact customer service and ask them why they have started charging you more again.

Hi,
Cheers. I would do, but I know exactly wha they will say. The discount deal was only supposed to be temporary, I think. For some reason it lasted longer than it was supposed to, so I can't really complain. The thing is everybody who's more in the know than me who has an NTL connection always seem to be aware of ongoing deals that you can quote them to pay less, often for an even faster connection.

ADSLGuide is quite a good site for news but I guess it just comes down to good old fashioned Googling. Maybe some other members know of some good news sites.
