live cd of knoppix 4.0

ive got a live cd for knoppix 4.0 and when it loads the GUI the mouse doesnt move, ive got a laser mouse and the light turns off after knoppix loads. any idea why and how to stop this. (the DVD is RW)

your mouse may not be supported...do you have another mouse to test with? like a ps/2 mouse?

ive fixed my problem by steeling my sisters mouse wich is old :whistling:. ive got another problem though. how do i setup my internet (for Knoppix), i couldnt find anywhere to change my ip adress and stuff.

hi, one question. i have had the same problem with knoppix and wondered what kind of mouse did work?
the only way i can even boot it is in failsafe mode but the optical mouse will not work. would only a regular wheel mouse work?
