Certainly within there domain, other things that can do it are things like starforce and the more aggresive/stupid pieces of DRM.

You should turn auto play/run off anyway. When you insert a cd, get used to looking to see what is on it before you let it go to town. If you are ever given the choice between a custom install or a default or express one, take the custom.
