Hi folks, I would be grateful if someone could offer me some advice.

My internet is working fine but I can't log on to anything that needs a username and a
password such as yahoo mail, hotmail accounts, betting accounts etc.

When I enter the password and log on, I get the cannot display page message
with cannot find server or dns error.

I think I had solved this before but cannot remember how.

I have tried fiddling with cookies, pop up blockers, firewalls etc but nothing seems to
work.. I have recently removed Norton....

Does anyone have any ideas ??????

Sounds like it might be a problem in the security settings -- sign-in pages generally use some kind of security. Did you check the security settings in the Advanced page on the Internet options? SSL 2.0 and 3.0 are checked on mine.

Thanks for replying, I have checked and doubled checked everything within my
internet options such as custom level, cookies, settings etc

The problem seems to be accessing anything over a secure link..

Does anyone have any further ideas ???????????????????????????????????????????
