Hey, I'm having some problems with firefox.
When I open the browser the first time there is no problem.
But when ever I close firefox and restart it I get the blue screen saying windows made an error "06 : 0000 : 0000FF4A".
Then I have to restart my pc to be able to open firefox.

I have the firefox version: "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win 9x 4.90; nl-NL; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050226 Firefox/1.0.1"
and my OS is "windows ME".

Does anybody has an idea what the problem could be?

Oh I almost fergot. Yesterday I had to remove "trojan Byte Verify" and "Bloodhound Exploit.6". But Norton could do that for me.

Thanx. :tazz:

Hi,

I doubt very much that your problem has anything to with Firefox. I notice you have the most recent release so it's more than likely the nasties you seem to have on board. You said Norton resolved some problems for you but I think you should download and run Lavasoft AdAware and Spybot S & D. They're both freebies and remember to update them before you run them. Also, I suggest that you run Hijack This afterwards and post the log in the cyber safety forum.

Good luck
