Hi Geeks,
thanks for maintaining this great forum.
I recently hired a developer, who seemed to know what she was doing, to adapt an email template to suit my site, MasterpieceMusic.org.
The emails will be sent (to consenting subscribers only) from my server.
The email turned out great, up until the point when I wanted to make the logo a little smaller.
Then I discovered that the logo appears to be located not on my server but on some mysterious server run by Google.
Here's the code for the first couple of paragraphs.
<td><a href="https://masterpiecemusic.org"target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?q=https://masterpiecemusic.org&source=gmail&ust=1682070034553000&usg=AOvVaw148ivzffk-S3PStnqqLVRq"><img class="CToWUd" style="width: 500px; background: #fff;" src="https://ci3.googleusercontent.com/proxy/99uYvBrvZB2pDHT2sze065FE2SX9lGPiawih_bD30xUujtzSf2_TD08xpFV8CJGwUes0pcOlD1ySXOLjk6NXaV4_Y_4zYbhjrypyLCbptdRBBvB9TtqGVqYUtX1qMQc=s0-d-e1-ft#https://masterpiecemusic.org/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Masterpiece-Logo.png" alt="" data-bit="iit" /> </a></td>
Although my knowledge of HTML is only at kindergarten level, I am suspicious of so many references to Google.
Should I be worried?
