Hey smart people, back again and its looking pretty good as far as spyware is concerned. Now my only problem is w?aclt.exe is somehow getting into my registry even though it refers to a file that is definately not there and despite the fact I have deleted the entries using reglite several times. Everytime I reboot windows its back in my registry. I first discovered it was in the registry when I was running an optimized defrag using System mechanic 5. The defrag program got caught in an endless loop trying to move c:\windows\system32\w?aclt.exe. So I checked out the registry and sure enough the reference was there to the file in system32. So I deleted the registry entries and restarted the defrag process and it finished without a hitch. Just wondering why the heck cant I get rid of remnents of that virus.
