Hi,

When a user closes word or one of there company programs they are recieving the following error:

Program: C:\Program Files\Mircosoft Office\Office10\WINWORD.EXE

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

The user had this problem a couple of months ago and I tried everything. Uninstalling and reinstalling office package. This did not work. Eventually after posting it on here I found the user had google and yahoo toolbars. Removed this and it did the trick.

However this time around found the user had the toolbars again, removed them thinking it will resolve the problem but it did not. The user says nothing was downloaded. Its been 3 weeks now.

Please, please somebody help!

Thank-you very much.

Hi,

The user does not have WinWay Resume version 9.0 or later. The error on this article in the link given, is slightly different from my error. This problem doesn't normally happen. Any more suggestions?
I need to resolve this issue quite urgently.

Thanks

Oh yes, sorry, but did you try at least follow Step 2? It applies to all applications that manífest this termination problem.

I just figured this out--it's a conflict with Office 2003 and Adobe Acrobat 7's PDF Maker office plugin.

Solutions here.

If you're not planning on making any PDFs with MS Office, this was awful easy and did the trick.

Note Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
1. Quit all programs.
2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
3. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
4. Under Currently installed programs, click Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0, and then click Change.
5. Click Modify, and then click Next.
6. Expand Create Adobe PDF.
7. Expand Acrobat PDFMaker.
8. Click the arrow next to Microsoft Office, and then click Not installed.
9. In the Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 Setup wizard, click OK.
10. Close Add or Remove Programs

Worked for me!

Good luck!
