Videos dont play properly

since about 10 minutes ago, all my videos have been working fine.

now on WMP, Nero Showtime, DivX palyer, & iTunes (but probably all players) whenever i watch a video, a few seconds in (about 5 or 10) it keeps repeating the last second (so if the video is player from the start it might repeat the 8th second) i can seek through the videos, but it happenes all throughout.

On WMP i *think* i got a message saying "I/S error" or something

I have all the latest codecs

I would appereciate it if someone can tell me what my problem is and how to fix it
