I think we've exhausted the other topic, so i think this calls for a new one. i have to thank you, swandog, for the extensive help there. enough sweet talk lol.
After perfectionizing my program, it would be appropriate to have a decent UI, right? time for questions!:
1) can i make a User Interface using Python?
2) is it very difficult (compared to other languages)?
3) are there any "inside" tuts and guides on GUI in python (like, things NOT found on google)?
4) would i be better off (in your personal opinion) learning something such as Visual Basic?

First hit I found on Google:

http://www.metaslash...on10/filegui.py
http://www.metaslash...thon10/oogui.py
http://www.metaslash...0/tkinterGui.py

I was reading it and tested it... It worked, so start reading it, good luck.

yes you can make a userinterface with Python. If its for windows, then check this link out.
http://www.wxpython.org/

I would just make sure you know python well before you dive into API's
