ppl would go on a riot (geeks throwing computer hardware!) if NN was overturned. It's a dumb idea by greedy telecom companies to charge extra to access certain sites. we pay for our internet, so we should have equal access to everything, just cause google is making more$ than telecom companies doesn't mean they should hand over their share of the cake. If and it's a big If NN was overturned, google will just have to start it's own ISP, Gcom or Gnet or GO, imagine the possiblities.

I kind of like the idea of a Google ISP. Then again I like the idea of a Google anything...Google themed restaurants, anyone? Meals prepared in .0089138 seconds.
Guess this thread isn't going anywhere

hmm for my highschool english class, we had to write 2 short stories and do a comparison so I did one story about a world ruled by Apple and everything had an I infront of it, and the other one about a world ruled by Google and everything had a G infront of it. I kinda made the apple world the distopian society where WWi wiped out half of the population, and every1 had ichips implanted in their heads for total control..... anyways I did alright on those stories.
But I would love a google themed restaurnt, "Rice and Bread are too common and was not included in your meal"

It is not a case of supporting or not, more simply that until now the powers that be have had no means to control the Internet. You will see nothing grand, just slow steps like some tool against child abusive photography then some other tool against hateful content, adult content and also the idea of all Internet content to be monitored(a thread of this site), etc., etc., and then this will cost something so they will introduce a tax for it(like the idea of taxing emails, another thread on this site) so the road to our Chinese'ish Internet is clear. No one will protest because the steps one by one are good but it is I agree at the cost to our freedom and our purse.
