Help slow n no network

Hi there,

Please, help me understand the cause of my problem.
I have a home network - 1 XP Pro (desktop), 1 XP Media Edition (laptop)

IP's are 192.168.0.5 and 192.168.0.24 respectively

XP Pro sees and browses the other while XP Media can't see XP Pro. Both can ping each other's IPs.

Also, XP Media network browser takes forever to open Network. Once opened it sees only itself.

Any idea? Please, help. Your advises are highly appreciated!
