help! cyberlink powerproducer 2 gold

I'm trying to burn a VCD on power producer 2 gold. Everytime I get to around 36% it stops and says "unspecified error" Any suggestions????

If you have the option to write to a folder on the drive, choose that, if it writes then try lowering the burn speed when using a CDR
