Intel SMBus driver

I have built a computer with an Intel DP965LT motherboard, Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Processor and Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 OS. When I try to istall the Intel Desktop Utilities I rercieve a message saying "unable to install SMBus driver". Can anyone tell me what I've done wrong or how to install te driver?
