Keith thansk for such a quick response./...

Yes it does help .. I am capable of getting this far.. and have done so...

BUT i hate buts !!

I draw a blank when it comes to securing the NETGEAR ROUTER ...

I have also signed up for a Dynamic DynDNS ??? does that make sense ??

My main issue is the secruity of the connection....

Any other thoughts ??

Thanks

If this is the DynDNS service then they will possibly be the best source of accurate advice

You could also post a new topic in networking

Keith

You are a legend !

Yes they do help, from the securing point of view and I love the step by step guides .... I am just about capable of following them !!

Why next concern is the ports ?? is that right how do I ensure it is only me that access into our network(small 5 pc) via the router....

Do i make any sence at all ??

Sorry for being so dumb!

Truely grateful for your help...
