Converting Cell Phone Video's

hello,
I need to convert videos that I've taken from my cell phone into more common formats (avi, mpeg, ect.). The format thta these videos are currently is are 'Nokia Mulimedia Player File'. Can i simply just use any standard converter to do this, or is there a specific on you would recommend? Thanks
