I have a real problem with my computer. Any sort of sound doesn't come out. My speakers are fine and the lines are put in correctly, but suddenly the sound did not come out. This also happened with my other computer but when i took it to a computer shop, they said that somehow the sound system was uninstalled. What is happening to my computer? Is it a virus?

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. First, check to make sure that audio is not muted. You should see a small "speaker" icon in the lower right corner of the system tray. Double click on it. Check to make sure the "mute all" box is not checked. Also, to to start, my computer right click properties, hardware tab, device manager. Look for the sound controller. Is there a yellow ! next to it? If so you will need to install the driver for it.
