Hi,
I use a router in my home, a wireless noteobook and 2 wired computers. Recetly i have discovered that my internet connetion have been really slow. Is it because i use a router? Or is it because of hte wireless notebook? And i use a Wireless-G 2.4GHz by Linksys.

Depends on a lot of things. Going wireless -will- create some amount of lag, but it's typically somewhat negligible, at least for surfing purposes. But the farther from the router you get the more severe it will be, so if it was on the opposite end of your house, you may experience a slow down. And yes, if both of your hardwire computers are online AND your router is online AND your laptop is connected to your router then your bandwith will probably be split up pretty bad, depending on how fast your internet connection is. But then again, could be something else entirely...like I said, depends on a lot of things, really.

Thanks for the reply,

I use Shaw High-Speed Internet which can do 5MB download speed. But there is one better one called Shaw High-Speed Xtreme-I which does 10 MB download speed. When i play a multiplayer game such as Starcraft on Battle.net, my computer lags alot. Is my internet connection originally slow or is it because of the router? Or does the game require faster internet connection?
