Downloading mpegs in IE

I used to be able to left click on an mpeg link and WMP would play it as it downloaded. Now I get the IE download box instead [indicating the file is being saved in the temp folder]. I've double checked associations in WMP and the Windows tool/folder options.

I don't know what changed, still running WMP and IE as before. Any ideas? Thanks, Cave

P.S. (Of course I can still right click and "save as" but that isn't what I'm talking about.)
