Hi lacokanostra...

Download FixDeskTop and save it to your My Documents folder.

Open Task Manager and click on "New Task...". Type my documents and click "Ok". In the My Documents folder, right click on the downloaded file and choose "Extract All. Follow the prompts to extract the file and then click on "Open Containing Folder". Double click on the file and answer "Yes" when asked if you want to run it.

Does your desktop return?
