I recently bought a media center computer, with a tv tuner. I recorded a couple shows, but then I wanted to burn it onto a dvd. All the programs I've tried do not recognize the format media center saves it as (.dvr-ms i think) This got me to think that maybe theres a copyright on it, so i tried reading some info about it but I got lost in all the legal mumbo jumbo. So my first question is: Is there copyright protection on recorded TV? And if not does anyone know of a program that recognizes the file type?
Thanks for all the help!
