I'm not getting my Hotmail messages and this is very annoying. When I tried to report it, their form didn't even work! Anyone else having this issue?

Are you using a mail client to get your email like Outlook Express, Outlook, Thunderbird or are you going directly to Hotmail's login page? If you haven't been doing the later, Hotmail has been running a security check and you must go to the site, enter what you see as a check against you being a 'bot and login to verify everything.

Also, free Hotmail has been closed down for many. If you have been using Hotmail for a long time, you may have been grandfathered in on the free account. I could not access my account using Outlook Express and it wouldn't tell me why exactly. Went to login page and had to go through a re-verification of my account. It has been fine since and still free.

I was going directly to the hotmail account. It seems I am getting messages now, but who knows whatever happened to my missing ones! You mean they actually think people would PAY for this lousy service? LOL :tazz:

:) Yes, they do! That's why I'm glad I never went for it. All my accounts are free. I even have an app that lets me get my Yahoo mail without going to the site. Juno I still have, believe it or not, but I have to do an online check for the mail. Have't tried to see if I could get the app to get Juno's mail yet. Probably not. I like opening OE and have all my mail come to me. Even my Gmail account. Thinking about switching to Thunderbird, but I don't have any problems with OE...yet! ;)

Cheers and sage surfing... ;)
