I have an iBook running 10.4.8. My darling child played on the keyboard and now the monitor color looks like you are viewing a photography negative. Upon restart, the colors will be briefly normal and then will flash into the negative. I've checked the preferences files but can't seem to fix the problem. Any thoughts?

Try holding down Control-Alt-Apple-8 (also known as Control, Option, Command, 8) all at the same time. If that doesn't work go to System Prefs > Universal Access

Thank you, thank you! Color is back to normal! Now if someone could tell how to get playing cards out of my CD ROM, I'll be back in action!

maybe a paperclip can help you get playing cards out of the machine? :whistling:

Do be careful with the lens in the optical drive.
