I just had my system upgraded to SP2, installed a new hard drive, and change my graphics card. (Just informing if there's anything wrong with that in any relation.)

I am using Mozilla firefox. Tried restarting my computer. But made no difference.

Some pages like,

http://dictionary.com
http://gmail.com
http://google.com

they just load and stop almost immediately. Then gives me a blank white page.

Please assist me in finding out what is the problem. Thank you!

From the discription of the problem, my only suggestion is to include the www. in all of the sites you are using.

Have you tried the pages in IE? Are you able to access other pages okay? Using the "Run" command, type cmd
then press okay, then type
ping www.google.com
What happens?
AndrewMonk- the "www" makes no difference at all with the way JayLights presented the links, i. e. http://geekstogo.com is the same as
www.geekstogo.com

I'm having similar problem. I use my laptop on a docking station at work. Can connect to Weather.com fine at home and at work when using wireless connection. But when using LAN, will not load page. Same with photobucket.com. If I try to go to that site it brings up the google search page with photobucket.com listed as first link. weather.com just never loads although it shows the description in the blue bar on top so it has made some type contact. If I ping weather, I get request timed out 4 times. photobucket says host could not be found. There's another desktop in the office with same problem but the other 3 have no problems. I have NIS 2006. The other PC has McAfee and its diabled.
