The user has problems starting up Windows. It gets to the logon screen and then after attempting to login it loops on loading settings continually.

Any ideas welcome :whistling:

Can't see the link.

Can you boot into Safe Mode to run maintenance, antivirus, anti-spyware, registry cleaner, etc.?

It was the AV that caused the problem in the first place I think. So I'm not so sure thats the best way to go.
