this board worked fine before, and ive been running my laptop and parents desktop. i decided id turn the older compaq into a sort of big storage, in going to use it as a massive storage debvice. i have 4 hd's i was going to put in it, i put it in the case, hooked it up, put ram in put cpu in put video card in. its all good, ive used it before, ive tried 3 dif cpus, and 5 dif videocard. i know rams good. help me please. i also looked over the board, theres no burn marks

First thing to do is reseat everything. You may have lost the cmos if the motherboard battery has gone dead. I usually quit messing if a new battery wont bring the MB bios back.

so should i try a different battery? i have reseated every thing several times, and have tried resetting the cmos. let me know asap
