I have been having the same issue that Jazza is having with Call of Duty, both 1 and 2. Call of Duty 2 won't even run on Windows Vista and I tried reinstalling like three times already. It doesn't even recognize the CD and when it does it says "There is known compatibility issue with this program and this version of Windows, get the latest version of Macromedia Flash." I went to the Adobe site and got the latest flash player but it still won't run. Call of Duty 1 is freezing up and causes a black screen on the computer like Jazza was experiencing.

Please HELP!

Hehe, my first post

Well my suggestions are
- Install lastest patches and drivers
read the "readme" for recommended patches/drivers
-Reinstall the game (save your saved games)

-"I was just thinking could my computer be overheating?
Just a suggestion because it is summer here."

Well it wouldn't hurt to let cool air in

-Restart computer

Hope it Helps
