Lag spikes on my DG834G router?

Whenever I play a game like CS or WoW I get these weird lag spikes, my ping stays normal but my loss (on cs) jumps to around 15 causing me to lag forward a bit. Now the weird thing is that if I host my own Warcraft 3 game i get no lag at all, and everyone playing gets no lag either. Where as if i play on a CS server hosted by me I still get the spikes. I'm on AOL 8 mb if that helps. This issue only started when changing to AOL from wanadoo by the way.
