Wireless Internet/Computer Freezes

I have a Compaq Presario 2500. I have purchased a Belkin Wireless G Plus notebook card so that i can connect to the internet wirelessly. I am using a BT Homehub router, which works fine using a wired connection, but after 10-20 minutes in line using the Belkin Card, my computer completely freezes up and i have to power down. The computer itself is quite slow anyway so i assume i have a lot of rubbish running in the background - if anyone has any ideasit would be great. :whistling:

Hi bjbez69!

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).
