hi, sounds silly but im new to windows 95, just been given an old pentium 3 on win95 thought it would be cool to check it out on the internet, only problem is i get the message DHCP unable to assign I.P address not sure if that related, im using a relativly new working network card and a working ethernet cable, the driver for the card has correctly installed, but can anyone tell me if you can use broadband on win95, if so how?
cheers

Windows 95 you need to install TCP/IP Networking as its not installed out of the box. Apart from that it works exactly the same as Win98.

With regard to the network card, there may not be a driver for it for Win95, you may need to find an older card from somewhere to work with it.
