Hi

When I click on a link in my university website (it's a secured site which i have to log in) , it opens a new window and then i download the file. after downloading, IE crashes:

"Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 7.0.5730.11 ModName: unknown
ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0c7dad76

It started a few days ago and I really don't know why. I tried to uninstall IE7 but it happened with 6 either.
Re-installing 7 didn't solve the problem.
I can't surf this site with Firefox.

Does anybody have an idea?

Thanks
